Santa Ynez style reins are very intricate and the most prestigious style of romals. 

Most romals have single braided reins, Santa Ynez style reins have multiple strands near the rider's hands that join into the buttons further down near the bit end. 

Our La Crema 48 plait Santa Ynez reins are built on a natural rawhide base with mahogany and black accents.

The two reins on this set each include 3 strands.  The romal is one solid piece.
